haaa exactly one week.. since my last post.. pheweeee...i'm starting to think... it's crazy to have too many passions at one go...absolutely consuming... haaa.. i think i can only have the energy to concentrate on one passion at any one time...if not its way too burnt out for me.. so for the past few weeks i'm been focussing on photography... for weddings (which must have been pretty successful i must say.. since i've received a few enquiries about my charges..wow.. happy happy!!) .. for shoots.. just been to the zoo shooting on sunday.. haaa. (thanks again mel !! i only went as far as ur doorstep.. sob sob.. so cham )..

was in the midst of preparing for the super ex IELTS test... which is finally over... and i'd b super busy again this week.. coz... u'd be seeing Little Princesse Jewellery at the EXPO SUNDAY FLEA MARKET again!! which will be on this Sunday.. phewee pheweee...

Haaaaaa.. :) i went to claim my prize yesterday! an ipod nano 4Gb... haa.. very elated..coz well it's the first time i enter a photography competition.. and yahoooooo.. i won !! haa mayb there's nobody else taking part that's y i won.. but hope the gd luck continues.. i'd be scouting ard for more photography competitions!!!
haa the ipod is soooo small n dainty... i din expect it to be SOooo slim.. wow.. it's so thin ... haa i'm worried i break it into half accidentally!! .. now enjoying it for a day... b4 i give it to my sis as birthday pressie haaa..

Pheweee Pheweee.... had a great weekend? haa i'm totally bushed out! i had a very interesting (haa well at least to me!) n defintely fruitful weekend... i did food photography at Infuzi Biopolis.. a truly new experience.. though i'm still a long long way from making the food look super duper yummy and leave u drooling kinda feeling... haa.. it's still a big start..

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! yesterday was just AWESOME!! my first ever flea market and it's a great success... much more den wat i've targetted for.. n i din even dare hope for more!

i had a bit of a frenzy setting up the stall coz everything was like all over and not arranged and displayed!! had a bit of hot sun too so had to kept shifting the table! haaa.. in the early noon things were very quiet.. and a tot suddenly grabbed me.. wat if i brough hm with every single piece of jewellery i came with.. that'd be awfully sad rite? but thank heavens things started picking up ard 3! gosh... and i really have a lot of pple to thank for the success of this flea.. haa...

let me first flip out my oscar thank you list. haaa... *ahem*

1) first and foremost.. i really have to thank my cutesy younger sis for being der even though she's going to have exam on wed....and bet she haven even touched half her notes!!

2) my big sis driving me der and being an awesome sales person... wow.. she really have a flair for it! defintely pumped up huge sales for me!

eh...have to continue this thank u list later.. need to rush for meeting! tata! till den!

haa.. i noe my thank you speech is way way overdue.. i've just been up to my neck with work and rushing jewellery, recuperating from sun flea and some other knick knack!

LITTLE PRINCESSE JEWELLERY FIRST EVER FLEA STALL!!

Some of you would have probably realised i've been up to my neck creating many earrings, necklace, bracelets, pottering around getting all the necessary stuff, bags, cloth, etc......to open my FIRST EVER FLEA STALL!! i'm very excited bout it.. all highly charged... abit aprehensive about it too.. since its my first time and what if NOBODY buys from me at all? sob sob..... tt questions been lingering in my mind.. well i'm crossing all my fingers and all my toes as well... hoping that THAT doesn't really happens....

anyway do hope u can pop by down... got it's a pretty big event.. i'm told by the organisers its more den 60 flea stalls there!! soo it's gonna be a big fun event!!! probably one of the biggest every in spore!!! i've still got quite a bit to catch up.. more earrings n necklace, my pricing, and finally to decide on how i wan to display my items .. etc etc etc.....anybody with great tips or advice in flea markets, stall decos .. anything... feel free to dish out ur golden advice!!

WINTER OLYMPICS 2006 : CURLING

Yesterday, i've probably seen the weirdest sport ever.... it's probably never heard of in this part of e world especially in sunny spore.. or mayb i've just been a frog in the well ... it's called CURLING (Chess on ice) ... one player swipes a round stone thing with handle straight across the ice and trys to get as close as possible to a dart board like thing at the other end..(view pics to get an idea of wat i'm gibbering) ... the funniest part.... once the player swipes the stone across the floor, two players will follow the stone and seriously scrub the floor in front of the stone.. i mean seriously SCRUB!! it was pretty hysterically funny ... it was like scrubbing the floor as an olympic sport?

C wat i mean? the brushing of broom in front of the rock is supposed to help move its direction n trajectory... how cool is that!! it really pigued my interest... i've watched a few rounds...and couldn't resist finding out more bout this sport... so if it really got u curious as well.. just pop by the olympic link above... they even have a flash animation showing how the whole game is played!!

Actually the winter olympics have many cool and interesting games/sports... very interesting to watch,, i think i love the speed skating and freestlye ski jump.... haa can watch in ur free time!!

CURLING SPORTS EQUIPMENT LIST

BROOM OR BRUSH
There are two types of broom. The most common is a brush or "push broom". The other is a corn/straw/Canadian broom, which, with long bristles, looks much like a normal broom.
ICE For indoor tournaments the artificially created ice has its surface sprinkled with water droplets which freeze into tiny bumps on the surface. Called "pebbled ice", this surface helps the stone's grip and leads to more consistent curling.
RINK
The rink is 42.07m long and 4.28m wide with a target - or house - at either end.

SHOES
Special curling shoes are common; shoes should grip the ice well. While shooting, extremely slippery surfaces such as Teflon are used on the sliding foot. Some are built into the shoes and others are strapped on over the shoes.

ROCK
Also known as a stone, a curling rock is made of rare, dense granite that is quarried on Scotland's Ailsa Craig. Each rock weighs 19.1kg and is polished.

Anyone still nursing the aftershocks of waaaay too much binge & booze?? haa i'm defintely am.. way to much munching on cny goodies.. oh for the glory of food!.. too much sugary drinks.. too much yummy dinners. every house u visit will bestow u with pineapple tarts, sugees, loveletters, peanutpops, prawnrolls... i'm sure u can name the rest ... unknowingly u keep popping the goodies in ur mouth.. silently ur waist creeps out horizontally ... before you know it! plops out ur tummy! Even after all the house visits.. e coffe table at my hm is decked out with goodies.. after every dinner.. i conveniently stretch out my chubby hands and grab the nearest bucket of goodies in reach.. n the munching starts all over again...does anyone out der who does that as well? or is it just only ME?!! Sigh..... so now i'm right in the midst of getting back in shape.. and trying really really hard... phewee.. the woes of irresistable food......
